Status of the MUonE experiment

چکیده
Abstract The MUonE experiment has been proposed to measure the differential cross section of ? e elastic scattering, by colliding 160 GeV muons CERN M2 beam with atomic electrons thin target plates. From a very precise measurement shape one can achieve competitive determination leading hadronic contribution muon magnetic moment, independent from other existing ones. In preparation for Test Run reduced setup detector geometry optimised. Expected yields first physics run limited statistics are discussed, together prospects assessment main systematic uncertainties.
